What we collect

When you run a check, we collect: the website address you submit and technical data (IP address, used for rate limiting). If you arrive from an advertisement, we may record advertising attribution parameters (such as click identifiers and UTM tags) to measure which campaigns bring visitors. If you purchase, your email address is collected by our checkout provider. Reports are generated from publicly available information: your website's public pages and public answers of AI assistants.

How we use it

Your email is used to deliver your reports and to run your account — see Emails we send below for the full list. We do not sell personal data. Aggregated, anonymized statistics (e.g. industry-level AI visibility trends) may be used in our research and content.

Emails we send

Service emails — your sign-in link, your reports, and notices about your plan. These are part of the product; you receive them while you have an account.

Unfinished checkout reminders. If you start a payment and do not complete it, our merchant of record may email you once or twice about it. We rely on legitimate interest for these, because you were in the middle of a purchase with us. If you would rather not get them, use the unsubscribe link in the email where one is offered, or simply reply to us at hello@recomark.com — we will make sure you receive no further reminders.

Product updates only if you explicitly opt in, and every one of them has an unsubscribe link.

We never sell your address, and we never pass it to advertisers.

Payments

Payments are processed by our merchant of record; we never see or store your card details.

Data retention & deletion

Reports and associated emails are retained while your account or report links remain active. To delete your data, email hello@recomark.com — we will remove it within 30 days.

Cookies & analytics

When you first visit, we ask for your consent. Until you choose, nothing beyond strictly necessary cookies runs.

If you accept, we load:

Yandex Metrica — traffic sources, page interactions and, via Webvisor, session recordings and heatmaps, so we can see where the site confuses people. Metrica sets cookies and may process this data on Yandex's servers.
Google Ads and Google Analytics — to measure which advertising brings visitors and whether they find the tool useful.

If you choose "Necessary only", none of the above loads. Advertising and analytics storage stay denied, and Google receives only aggregated, cookieless signals.

Visitors from the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are denied by default until they accept (Google Consent Mode v2).

You can change your choice at any time — Cookie settings in the footer of any page.
